I strongly believe in using technology in a positive and educational way.  The internet can be used as an amazing resource to improve literacy and mathematic skills.  Here you can find the best educational websites on the net.  Just click on the link to go to the website.  Some websites may require a log in.  This is given to the students at the start of the year.  Please inform me if you require another copy and I will send it home. 

 

www.intrepica.com.au - access to this website is provided FREE by our school.  An amazing website to help with literacy skills.  It is also the main focus of our homework.

www.mathletics.com.au - access to this website is provided FREE by our school.  An awesome website to help with mathematic skills.  It is also part of our weekly homework.

www.studyladder.com.au - a free AUSTRALIAN website that helps develop literacy and mathematics skills.  Activities are preset by myself each week.

www.sumdog.com - another great website that helps with mathematic skills.

www.hoodamath.com - a great game site that uses logic and maths to help solve puzzles.

www.multiplication.com - a fantastic site to help you learn your times tables.  Lots of games are here.

www.freerice.com - a great site for helping to donate food to poor countries.  Click on the maths section or grammar section they are at a year 3 level.  Log in with the user name - mrstef and the password is the same as our Spelling City site.
